Forum Theatre Project: On Breast Cancer

Actor, Renee Garvens, has spent the last several years interviewing women affected by the ravages of breast cancer. These first-hand accounts of living, dying, surviving and coping with the disease will come together to form an intimate portrait and a very personal platform for dialogue. Presented as a work in progress, this project tells the stories of the women she has interviewed, interweaved with the story of Renee's mothers journey with the disease. Developed in the style of Augusto Boal's community-based theatre philosophies, this year's Forum is the next step in the evolution of AtticRep's Forum Theatre Project. This evening is FREE but optional donations to Texas WINGS will be accepted at the door.
